Furnace Transformer is an electrical transformer to power electric furnaces such as Induction and Arc furnaces used to melt Iron. We manufacture Oil cooled furnace transformers to comply with furnace duty and to suppress harmonics.
The Furnace Transformers is a very high current on the secondary side with low voltage so Amptech Furnace Transformers are manufactured with special bushings to connect to the busbars.
